Greta: “EuroPeersi võrgustik on suur, kuid samal ajal väike perekond, kes toetavad üksteist igas olukorras,”

Minu nimi on Greta Orehhova ja ma olen Eesti EuroPeers võrgustiku liige. Võid küsida, kes on EuroPeer? Mida see tähendab? Kuidas ma saan selle võrgustikuga liituda? Järgmises loos saad vastused kõigile neile küsimustele!

Astusin EuroPeers võrgustikku 2022. aasta detsembris. Tol hetkel polnud ma päris kindel, milles see tegelikult seisneb. Mäletan, et nägin kutset Erasmus+ ja Euroopa Solidaarsuskorpuse agentuuri Facebooki lehel ja lugesin tingimusi: “Erasmuse või Euroopa Solidaarsuskorpuse kogemus, check! Motivatsioon, check! Tahad jagada kogemusi teistega, check!”. Pärast avalduse saatmist, leidsin end koos teiste võrgustikuliikmetega, kes samuti soovivad jagada oma Erasmus+ või Euroopa Solidaarsuskorpuse programmi kogemusi ning proovida midagi uut.

Kolm kuud pärast meie esimest kohalikku kohtumist/koolitust Tallinnas, otsustasin tõsta oma motivatsiooni veel, liitudes Europeers nõuandva koguga ja esindades Eestit. Veel kolm kuud möödus ja leidsin end juba Hannoverist, Saksamaalt, kus osalesin rahvusvahelisel EuroPeersi koolitusel koos 20 inimesega 10st riigist.

Iga järgneva kohtumise ajal tundsin, et EuroPeersi võrgustik on suur, kuid samal ajal ühtne perekond, kes toetavad üksteist igas olukorras, jagavad oma rõõmu, on valmis jagama oma kogemusi või vähemalt seda proovima! Ja nüüd, kui kirjutan seda lugu detsembris 2023, võin öelda, et selle 1 aasta jooksul on EuroPeersi võrgustik muutnud mind õnnelikumaks inimeseks kui ma kunagi varem olen olnud ning näidanud mulle külgi, millele ma kunagi ei mõelnud (näiteks kuidas teha kooli esitlusi paremini või kuidas luua uusi rahvusvahelisi sidemeid).

My name is Greta Orehhova and I am an Estonian EuroPeer. You may be asking who is EuroPeer? What is it to be EuroPeer? How can I join EuroPeers? Well, in the next story you can find answers to all of the questions!

I joined the EuroPeers network 2022 December, at this time I wasn’t really sure what it is really about. I remember seeing the call on Estonian National Agency’s Facebook page and looked through conditions: “Erasmus or European Solidarity Corps experience, check! Motivation, check! Wanna share experiences with others, check!”.  The very next moment after sending application, I found myself together with others who also want to share their experiences about Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps and who want to try something new.

3 months after our first local meeting/ training in Tallinn, Estonia I decided to take my motivation even higher by joining “EuroPeers Advisory Group” and representing Estonia. Another 3 months passed and now I found myself already in Hannover, Germany where I did my International Europeer training together with 20 other people from 10 different countries .

Every other meeting after that I felt that EuroPeers network is a big, but at the same time small family who support each other in every situation, who share their joy , who are willing to share their experiences or who are willing to at least try it!  And now as I am writing this story in December 2023, I can say that during this 1 year, EuroPeers Network has changed me to the happiest person i’ve ever been and even showed me a sides what I never thought about (for example how to make school presentations better or how to make new international connections).
